Among all the paintings of the great masters, the painting “The Fallen Angel” by Alexandre Cabanel is one of my favorites. The gaze of the fallen angel is striking and attractive. This moment, when the angel is not yet a demon, but can no longer be an angel, probably brings this figure closest to the human image. We all combine two sides - good and evil, and it is the balance between these sides that makes us good or bad people.
